Substance Abuse Facts: Sub-state Estimates from the
2004-2006 National Surveys on Drug Use and
Health, measures and analyzes 23 substance abuse and mental health-related
behavior levels in 345 sub-state regions representing all 50 states and the
District of Columbia. In most states, the sub-state regions are defined in
terms of counties or groups of counties. In a few states, these areas are
defined in terms of census tracts. The results were based on the combined
data from the 2004 to 2006 National Surveys on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH)
and involved responses from 203,870 people age 12 or older throughout the
United States. The full report is available at

The following 3 links are not an endorsement of the web sites represented. The
information is intended to be a reference for parents, teachers and anyone
concerned about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The first 2 sites seem to be promoting "informed" substance abuse. Many
people are of the opinion that if they "research" their drug of choice that
they have some control over their trip. The 3rd link is a web site
soliciting "resellers" for their "research chemicals".
