The Native American Student & Community Center (NASCC) is a gathering space to celebrate and empower student success through culturally relevant programming, academic support, and inter-generational community engagement to preserve and perpetuate inter-tribal connection for Native American/Alaskan Native/Pacific Islander students and our allies through tradition, ceremony, and storytelling. In addition to our own original programming, the NASCC maintains a special relationship with the Cultural Resource Centers (CRC) Programming Coordinator to facilitate student-focused programming.

Indigenous Nations Studies

The PSU Indigenous Nations Studies Program that serves students who would like to pursue an undergraduate degree within and across studies of Indigneous sovereignty, traditional ecological knowledge, decolonizing methodologies, cultural and environmental sustainability, Indigenous futurisms and self-determination.

American Indian Teacher Program

The American Indian Teacher Program is a program under the College of Education, GTEP program, Teaching License and Master’s Program for American Indian Students.

Institute for Tribal Government

The Certificate in Tribal Relations is offered by the Institute for Tribal Government and Center for Public Service in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government. It is designed for local, state, and federal government agencies, non-profit and for-profit organizations, and trade associations that work regularly with tribal nations.

PSU Cultural Resource Centers

The Cultural Resource Centers (CRCs) provide student leadership, employment, and volunteer opportunities; student resources such as computer labs, event, lounge and study spaces; and extensive programming. The CRCs are a unit of Diversity & Multicultural Student Services. All PSU students are welcome in our spaces.
