Whether you're a brand new student discovering the PSU campus for the very first time or a returning student kicking off the new academic year, there are a number of events available to help you celebrate your start! All events are free and open to all PSU students and employees.

Don't miss an unforgettable night at Portland State University's Annual Drag Show. Witness the ferocious performance by queens from throughout the Portland Metro area. Seats are first-come, first-served. No outside food or beverages permitted. It is customary to tip at a drag show. We strongly encourage bringing extra cash for the evening's performance.

Vikings Football vs. Cal Poly and Back to School Beach Bash | Saturday, September 23

1:00 PM | Hillsboro Stadium (Admission is FREE for students. Must show PSU Student ID for entry.)

Buses will take students from the PSU Campus to Hillsboro Stadium! The bus arrives at the PSU campus at 11:30 AM and departs for Hillsboro Stadium at 12:00 PM. Buses return to campus after the game concludes (15-20 min after). There will be a public announcement notifying students where to meet after the game.
